What is Daily Doubloons®?
Daily Doubloons® is the a treasure hunting application designed to perform and host physical and virtual searches for valuable treasure - not protected, historical or artifactual treasure; but new treasure hidden by real people. Discover clues, riddles, and prompts while searching virtually anywhere on the planet. Once you find the treasure, you can choose to enter a drawing for promotional gifts and offers. Treasure hunts can be hosted virtually, open to the public, or closed to private parties by businesses and individuals.
How To Play
Download Daily Doubloons®, available in Google Play™ or the Apple App Store™. Sign in and scroll around on the Doubloons Map™ to search for various hosted treasure hunts, also known as Doubloons. Tap to join or follow the Daily Doubloons® treasure hunts that interest you. With your consent, you will receive a notification every time a clue is released by the host. Stay within the boundaries specified on the Treasure Map™ to participate in the hunt.
Roles of the App
Hosts: A host’s objective is to create and post treasure hunts on the application. Hosts are prohibited of searching for treasure hunts. A host can remove his or her account and re-register as a player to participate in treasure hunts. A host will hide a valuable treasure and give daily or periodical clues with pictures and a description to assist the player in finding the treasure. Hosts can also make the search easier for the Player by enabling the Doubloons Locator™ (see Doubloons Locator).
Players: Download the app for FREE and search the map for treasure hunts. Then follow them for Daily Doubloons® daily or even hourly posts or notifications. The treasure is 100% free to the Player. You must be 18 years or older to be a Daily Doubloons® Player and be eligible for drawings and claiming treasures found.
How to Host a Daily Doubloons® Treasure Hunt
Individuals or Businesses may become host a Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt. To host a Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt, download Daily Doubloons®, available in Google Play™ or the Apple App Store™. Register as a host, located at the bottom of the login screen and choose ‘Host a Doubloons Hunt’ on the Doubloons Map™ menu. Next, select the type of Doubloons Hunt™ you wish to host and follow the instructions to complete the Doubloons Hunt™ setup.
What Can I Hide?
Daily Doubloons® Treasures MUST include: Real treasure of real monetary value, such as: Gold, silver, jewels, jewelry, precious metals, diamonds, coins, cash, eGift cards, pre-paid credit cards, gift certificates, cryptocurrency, merchandise or timeshares and must be 100% free to players, with no obligations.
Daily Doubloons® Treasure may NOT include: Fake or imposter objects, live or deceased beings of any kind, weapons, drugs, pornographic media, items with a monetary value of less than $25.00, coupons, discounts for purchase, percentage off, buy one get one free’s, or solicitations of any kind. Real estate promotions, presentations or inspections are prohibited.
Finding the Treasure
Once you believe you have found the treasure, you can claim it by tapping the ‘Claim’ button on your device. You will be prompted to enter the Doubloons Code™ to claim the treasure. The Doubloons Code™ can be found attached or beside the hidden treasure. Once it has been submitted, you have successfully claimed and found a Daily Doubloons® treasure!
What Happens Next?
Once you have claimed a Daily Doubloons® treasure, you have the option to enter your name into a drawing for promotional gifts. You will also receive points added to your rank to level up on the Daily Doubloons® rank and leaderboard.

Types of Treasure Hunts (Doubloons)
Exclusive Doubloons™: Treasure hunts exclusively for select, invited people or business staff. Great for family, friends, and clubs or for businesses, customers or employees. Not open for the public to see on the Doubloons Map™, these hunts are private events, by invitation only. Only players with invitations sent to their email addresses can search for the treasure and see the clues. Exclusive Doubloons™ can be posted in the desired location and set at the desired start time, as well as a desired date and time for the released clues to their party.
Open Doubloons™: An open treasure hunt, or seen by the public. Business or Group Hosts can host an Open Doubloons™ treasure hunt. This physical type of hunt does not require an invitation to participate in.
Virtual Doubloons™: Posted as Exclusive or Open, these all-digital treasure hunts are the modern-day treasure hunts with digital treasures that can be searched on the app in real time. Treasures are hidden within a photo taken by the host and can be found by other players simply by looking at the image and outlining the hidden treasure. For this reason, players do not have to be physically there at the treasure hunting spot, unlike Open Doubloons™ or Exclusive Doubloons™ physical hunts. Claimed treasures can be redeemed through the Settings menu in the app.
Progressive Doubloons™: These types of treasure hunts are time sensitive. If the treasure is not claimed within the specified time, the monetary value of the treasure will increase. Each time the allotted time expires, the value of the treasure will increase.
Featured Doubloons™: Featured Doubloons™ are treasure hunts that feature an event, location or activity. These ‘features’ can be searched through the Spyglass icon on the Doubloons Map™ menu. Hosts can choose from a selection of features, or create their own. For example, if you like drones and wish to search for treasure with one, you can follow and join a featured, drone hunting treasure hunt.
Sponsored Doubloons™: Another ideal event for business from startups to corporations to host, the Sponsored Doubloons™ treasure hunt allows for a special placement of your Doubloons Banner™ on the Featured Doubloons™ list, as well as in some cases, a featured placement no the Doubloons selection menu! In effect, Featured Doubloons™ will provide additional exposure to trending or popular treasure hunts.
Daily Doubloons® GRAND TREASURE HUNT/CONTESTS AND DRAWINGS
Every player that finds and claims a treasure from ANY Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt will have the choice to be entered into drawing for a chance to win a paid vacation to the annual Daily Doubloons® Grand Treasure Hunt, a 7-night Caribbean Cruise - all expenses paid, and a chance to find a Daily Doubloons® official pirate's treasure! To apply, find any Daily Doubloons® treasure and claim it by submitting the Doubloons Code™ attached or hidden with the treasure to the app. We will have many random drawings from the “database” to give away treasure from time to time. These drawings will be from the whole database of treasure hunt “Players”, finders and winners. Some restrictions apply. Many will enter, only twelve will win!

Get an Affiliate link and get paid to refer Daily Doubloons®. You do not have to pay a membership fee or purchase anything, just refer others to register as a player or host through the website.

Game Rules and Regulations
Like any outdoor activity, treasure hunting can be dangerous. By downloading and using the Daily Doubloons® application, you acknowledge and understand that participating in a Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt is under your own discretion and therefore, you are participating at your own risk. You as a Daily Doubloons® Host or Player, participating in the use of the application and physical and virtual hunting, will hold Daily Doubloons®, its employees, suppliers, partners, sponsors and affiliates free of any liabilities. Furthermore, you agree that you will not sue or make any legal claims or damages or hold Daily Doubloons® or its employees, suppliers, partners, sponsors or affiliates responsible in any way for any possible injuries occurring to you or anyone associated with or accompanying you, while participating in any Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt that you may or may have obtained any injuries, damages of any kind or emotional or financial distress whatsoever as a result of any Daily Doubloons® event. If in the event that a Daily Doubloons® treasure hunt leads you to private property, inaccessible, unsafe locations or you do not feel confident in any way about location for any reason, leave the area immediately.
Player Rules
- Do not enter private property, even if the treasure hunting area is located there.
- Do not cross over, scale or climb any fences.
- You must claim the treasure if you found it. Failure of this will result in permanent termination of your account.
- Do not search in trash bins, dumpsters or any industrial equipment of any kind.
- Do not climb, swim or participate in any special activity to claim the hidden treasure without proper training and equipment.
- Stay within the treasure hunting area while searching for the treasure.
- Stay aware of your surroundings. Look out for traffic, wildlife and others in the vicinity of the event.
- Do not damage or harm property, public or private; including vegetation and wildlife.
- Do not litter or solicit a treasure hunt during a search.
- Always use the proper outdoor safety gear while hunting.
- Obey and respect national or public park hours, closures and rehabilitations.
- Be respectful, kind and courteous to other Daily Doubloons® hosts and treasure hunters.
Host Rules
- You must hide a treasure of monetary value.
- Do not hide a treasure that is impossible or near impossible to retrieve.
- Do not cross over, scale or climb any fences.
- Do not hide treasure on private property, even with permission from the landowner.
- Do not damage or harm property, public or private; including vegetation and wildlife.
- Stay aware of your surroundings. Look out for traffic, wildlife and others in the vicinity of the event.
- Do not litter or solicit a treasure hunt while hiding a treasure.
- Always use the proper outdoor safety gear while hiding a treasure.
- Obey and respect national or public park hours, closures and rehabilitations.
- Be respectful, kind and courteous to other Daily Doubloons® hosts and treasure hunters.
- You must hide the same treasure that is described, photographed and featured in the hosted applicable Daily Doubloons® event. No duplicates, imposter or fake items.
- No stalking, loitering or hiding out around the hidden treasure location.
- Trail camera’s, or mobile motion-activated cameras of any sort installed in and/or around the vicinity of the treasure hunt location is prohibited.
- Do not hide a treasure in public or private trash cans, dumpsters or industrial equipment of any kind.
